If you sit on these benches, you can see the carousel. If you see the carousel, you can see the sundial in the concrete on the sidewalk where people walk. If you walk down the sidewalk, you will find your feet. And if you keep on walking, you never know who you might meet. Go out and explore your world. You may not have a chance tomorrow. Beth Young is an award-winning local journalist who has been covering the East End since the 1990s. She began her career at the Sag Harbor Express and, after receiving her Masters from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, has reported for the Southampton Press, the East Hampton Press and the Times/Review Media Group.
