The North Fork Civics held a forum for Southold Town candidates in this fall’s election on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Peconic Lane Recreation Center.
Candidates for the three seats on the Southold Town Board, including the Fishers Island Council/Justice seat, participated in the forum, along with candidates for Southold Town Trustee.
Candidates for the Suffolk County Legislature’s First Legislative District seat also had an opportunity to speak.

After following the discussion about community housing, it seems to me that a few approaches could work well. Utilizing the Capital One Building for apartments, and duplicating the Cottages in Mattituck sounds reasonable to fit in with our wonderful community.
