The East Quogue School District is putting a $22.8 million budget up before voters on May 20, up 1.9 percent from last year. If approved, taxes would increase from $11.35 per $1,000 of assessed valuation to $11.35 per $1,000.
Newcomer Cynthia McNamara and incumbent Patricia Tuzzolo are running for two seats on the school board.
Voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the elementary school. The district’s full budget presentation is available online here.
