The Mattituck-Cutchogue School District is putting up a $39.7 million budget for vote on May 20, up $820,000 from last year. If the budget is approved, both the tax levy and the tax rate for individual homeowners will increase by 1.8 percent.
Mattituck-Cutchogue School Board President Jerry Diffley and Vice President Charles Anderson are running to keep their seats.
Voting will take place from 3 to 9 p.m. in the Mattituck High School gymnasium. The district’s budget documents are available online here.
