Quogue Budget Vote

The Quogue School District is proposing a $7.7 million budget to voters on May 20, down 1.1 percent from last year. If approved by voters, taxes would decrease 4.4 percent to $1.95 per $1,000 of assessed valuation, down from $2.04 per $1,000 now.

Quogue School Board member Larry Berman is running unopposed for his third term on the board.

Voting will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Quogue School Library.
