Good Morning!

• It will be partly sunny today, with a high temperature near 26 degrees but wind chill values between zero and 10, with a north wind 10 to 15 miles per hour. It will be mostly cloudy overnight, with a low around 14. Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 28 and Sunday will be partly sunny, with a high near 34.

• Drawdown Festival – Tools for Regeneration, held by Drawdown East End and the Southampton Arts Center blankets this weekend with virtual talks, workshops and films on “actions we can all take to regenerate our earth and reverse climate devastation.” Festivities begin this evening at 6:45 p.m. Here’s more info.

• The Sag Harbor Village Board is expected to introduce a code revision in February that would make the entire village an Affordable Housing Overlay District. Read More.

Suffolk County reported 2,056 new cases of Covid-19 on Wednesday, Jan. 19, with 13.9 percent of people tested testing positive. There were 901 hospitalized people who had the virus in the county, with 142 of them in ICU. The county reported 24 new fatalities from the virus, bringing the death toll here to 4,086 people since March of 2020.
