There’s a chance of rain, snow, and sleet between 1 and 3 a.m., then a chance of rain after 3 a.m. overnight, with a temperature falling to near 26 by 8 p.m., then rising to around 36 during the remainder of the night. • The Southold Historical Society is partnering with Peconic Landing in Greenport on a Winter Lecture Series, which kicks off tomorrow, Jan. 8 at 4 p.m. with a talk on “The Art of the Eel” by Stephen N.
