• Today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 60 degrees and a north wind around 7 miles per hour. It will be mostly cloudy overnight, with a low around 39. Thursday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 61, and Friday will be partly sunny, with a high near 63.

• This week, we welcome the addition of Michael Daly’s new column, “The Homestead,” about community issues. This month’s topic: Love Yer Elders.  

• The Riverhead Free Library will host a celebration of their new seed library this evening from 4 to 7 p.m. Stop by to celebrate the seed exchange program and try a seed craft. More details are online here.
