It will be cloudy through mid morning Thursday, then gradually clearing, with a high near 40. Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 44.

• The Southampton Town Board will discuss proposed taxi legislation, proposed rules for hanging American flags and proposed changes to first-time homebuyer credits at their 11 a.m. work session this morning.
