Good Morning!

• Today will gradually become more sunny, with a high near 48 degrees and a west wind 20 to 28 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 46. It will be clear and cold overnight, with a low around 23. There’s a 50 percent chance of light snow after 10 a.m. Friday, with a high near 38 degrees. Saturday will be sunny and breezy, with a high near 35.

• The Southampton Town Board will discuss the Ecological Cultural Initiative in Hampton Bays, a Hampton Bays Fire Department property purchase and Bridgehampton traffic safety improvements at their 11 a.m. meeting at town hall this morning. Their full agenda is online here.

• The Riverhead Town Board will discuss 84 Lumber, drive-through restaurants, a modification to the town’s rental law, beach and recreation code changes and agricultural worker housing at their weekly work session at 10 a.m. this morning. Their full agenda is available online here.

• Southold Town Supervisor Scott Russell will hold his annual State of the Town address this evening, March 2 at 6 p.m. in the town hall meeting room. All are welcome to attend.
