• We’re expecting partly sunny skies today, with a high temperature near 45 degrees but wind chill values between 15 and 25 early, with a north wind 14 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. It will be mostly cloudy overnight, with a low around 31. Thursday will be partly sunny, with a high near 46. We’re expecting increasing clouds on Friday, with a high near 42.

• The Beacon will be livestreaming the second Greenport Village Trustee Debate for the March 21 election this evening at 6:30 p.m. on YouTube. Here’s the link.

• The Watermill Center, a laboratory for the arts founded by theater and visual artist Robert Wilson, is looking to make its work more accessible to its neighbors on the East End through its In Process series of open studios with artists at work. Read More.

• Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor hosts “A Concert for Syria & Turkey” tomorrow evening, March 9 at 7 p.m., with Gene Casey, The HooDoo Loungers, Jay Schneiderman and Matt White, benefitting Oxfam International’s earthquake relief efforts. Tickets are $20 and are available at baystreet.org.

• The Peconic Baykeeper and the Peconic Estuary Partnership hold the last of their Winter Walk Series at the Paul Stoutenburgh Preserve in Southold this Friday, March 10 at 10 a.m. RSVP online for this free program.

• The Southold Youth Bureau hosts a Sports Equipment Exchange this Saturday, March 11 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Peconic Lane Recreation Center, 970 Peconic Lane in Peconic. Here’s more info.
