• We’re expecting partly sunny skies today, with a high temperature near 58 degrees and a 30 percent chance of showers after 2 p.m., with a northeast wind 5 to 9 miles per hour, becoming southeast in the afternoon. We’re expecting showers overnight, with a low around 42. Showers will continue into Thursday, with a high near 52, and we’re expecting patchy drizzle early Friday, with a high near 54.

• The Arts Center at Duck Creek will hold its second annual Airing of Quilts on Saturday, April 20 (Rain date: Sunday, April 21). This all-day community event is organized by artists Louise Eastman and Erica-Lynn Huberty, and is expected to be a joyous celebration of community, creativity, and the arrival of spring.
