Good Morning!

We’re expecting partly sunny skies today, with a 20 percent chance of showers between 8 and 11 a.m., with patchy fog before 8 a.m., a high near 77 degrees and a northeast wind 8 to 10 miles per hour. It will be partly cloudy overnight, with a low around 61. Saturday will be partly sunny, with a high near 73 and a 30 percent chance of showers after 5 p.m., and Sunday will be sunny, with a high near 73.

• The Springs Historical Society hosts its fourth annual benefit art show and celebration, “Arts & Archives 2024” the weekend of Sept. 6 through Sept. 8, featuring more than 50 contemporary artists from Springs, a curator’s forum, historic tour and opening reception. Read More.

Reflextions Riverhead: Sculptures will be illuminated throughout Grangebel Park alongside the Peconic Riverh in downtown Riverhead on Saturday evening, Sept. 7.
